Michael Wong, BSc (Hons), MCSP

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified in 2007 with First Class Honours from the University of the West of England (Bristol). Since then, I have worked in various NHS hospitals in the South West, as well as for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in treating a wide range of chronic pain, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, respiratory, neurological and rheumatological problems.

I currently work part-time in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), and pain from Complex Cancer Late Effects (CCLE). I have spent most of my career working at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath (now part of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust), so have extensive experience in treating rheumatogical conditions, including Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility, and many different types of inflammatory or degenerative arthritis. I am also a member of the Physiotherapy Pain Association (PPA) and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).

I decided to branch out into private practice as I wanted a break from the constant nine-to-five routine. I now travel throughout the Bristol area and will visit you in the comfort of your own home to provide you with an individual physiotherapy consultation.
