Michael Wong, BSc (Hons), MCSP

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified in 2007 with First Class Honours from the University of the West of England (Bristol). Since then, I have worked in various NHS hospitals in the South West, as well as for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, respiratory, neurological and rheumatological problems. With over twenty years of martial arts experience (Southern Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi), I have experienced and also treated many common (and uncommon) sports injuries.

I currently work part-time in the NHS as a Specialist Physiotherapist in Rheumatology and Chronic Pain, which includes treating conditions such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Complex Cancer Late Effects of Radiation (CCLER), Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility, and many different types of inflammatory or degenerative arthritis. I am also a member of the Physiotherapy Pain Association.

I decided to branch out into private practice as I wanted a break from the constant nine-to-five routine. I now travel throughout the Bristol area and will visit you in the comfort of your own home to provide you with an individual physiotherapy consultation.
